Our project began with identifying a problem that needed a solution. We knew we wanted to start a project but were not sure what it could be, so we talked to many people and took note of potential areas to explore. Among all the points, one stood out: we noticed that startups struggled with graphic design.
Once we identified this niche as an opportunity, we started validating some hypotheses we had about the problem. After about a month and a half of validation, we found something that people were interested in. The idea was efficient because we were able to make our first sale without a website or MVP.

We began working with Slack to receive client requests, but in some point, we found that Slack became confusing and information was missing among other messages. Therefore, we decided to switch to other tool, such as Trello, that offer a better organization of the process and helped us to track progress and keep everyone on the same page, was a manual system using Trello to organize the flow of graphic design requests, but this allowed us to save a lot on the development of software for such an early phase, even though it was a manual process, it was still worth it.
In less than a year, our project achieved significant results. We were able to acquire 25 clients and generate more than 24,000 euros in revenue. Our team produced over 400 approved designs and a high percentage of our clients, 88%, subscribed to our most expensive plan. By the end of our operation, we had generated a total of 45,000 euros in revenue.
These results demonstrate the success of our project in addressing the problem of graphic design for startups. Our flat-rate, unlimited professional graphic design service not only met the needs of our clients but exceeded their expectations. The high number of approved designs and the high percentage of clients subscribing to our most expensive plan indicate that our service was able to provide significant value to our customers.

In conclusion, our project, Flippo, set out to address the problem of graphic design for startups. Through research, validation, and experimentation, we were able to identify an opportunity in the market and develop a successful flat-rate, unlimited professional graphic design service.

However, during the development of Flippo, we noticed a recurring problem that many of our clients were facing, which led us to see an opportunity to bring Flippo to the next level and pivot the project towards a SaaS (Software as a Service) model. With this pivot, we aim to continue providing value to our clients by offering a more efficient and scalable solution to their graphic design needs.
